Damiana, typically thought of as an aphrodisiac by those who are familiar with its effects, is an important ingredient utilized in STEPHAN Lovpil. A major herbal remedy in Mexican medical folklore, damiana is often used for the treatment of both impotency and sterility. However, its proven stimulating properties of male virility and libido make it an ideal addition to STEPHAN Lovpil's formulation.

A number of scientific studies have shown a direct relationship between low sperm count and diets deficient in arginine. Well established as being significant to normal sperm production, arginine is, therefore, an important contributor to STEPHAN Lovpil.

A third imperative ingredient is vitamin C.  Scientific studies have uncovered that ascorbic acid may actually protect human sperm from oxidative DNA damage, which could in turn help prevent birth defects.
